You’re naive if you believe politicians are against wealth distribution. They’re for it 100%. They just want to make sure some of it is distributed in their direction. Beyond that, they really don’t care.
Another metaphor for humanity: Our house is on fire in a dozen different places and we’re just now on the verge of starting to think about thinking about considering whether we should order a fire extinguisher from Amazon.
The internet is so popular because it makes it so much easier for us to lie to ourselves about lying to ourselves… even though lying to ourselves about lying to ourselves is something we do without even noticing.
